We understand that getting away from the office at lunchtime to walk your dog isn’t always easy. That’s where we step in!

Even if you work from home, we know it’s not always easy to give your dog the breaks and attention they need during the day. There are so many reasons why busy pet owners like you need a reliable and trustworthy midday dog walker. We provide the extra companionship your dog needs. Our dog walkers are here to take your precious pet outside whenever you need us.

During the walk, we give your dog the time to act like a dog — the time to sniff, walk, and explore. This quality time also lets our dog walkers observe your dog’s behavior and build a relationship of trust and friendship. With our service, we not only take your dog for a walk rain or shine, but we also provide a detailed pet report including a photo showing their time outside so you don’t miss their happy face during the day!

Others are less apparent, such as improved socialization, behavior, and overall health. Plus, consistent midday dog walks provide your pet with a regular routine to look forward to.

Meet & Greet

During our 30-minute intake meeting, we gather all of the important details needed to care for your pet. Our dog walker visits you in your home to meet both you and your pet. We confirm the dates and times you need our services and review any necessary paperwork, including completing our pet profile. At this time, you provide a copy of your pet’s veterinary records and share any personality or behavioral traits we should know about. We’ll also go over all of your instructions. The visit includes a tour of your home so we can locate essentials such as leashes, bags, food, favorite toys, and other items. We also spend time having fun getting to know your pet in their own environment.

Rates

We offer 30-minute midday walks for one or more dogs, Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Pricing is $23 per walk for one dog, $25 per walk for two to three dogs, and an additional $5  for each dog beyond three. A one-time fee of $20 is charged for all new clients for the intake meeting, and the fee for second meetings for existing clients is $15.

Policy

Midday dog walking follows the standard pet-sitting policies with the following payment modifications:

Payment for services is due upon receipt of the semi-monthly invoices issued on the 15th and last day of each month. Credits for cancellations will be applied to the  following month’s invoice. Any additional service requests made during the week or on weekends will be billed at the pet-sit rate and invoiced separately.

New Clients

We will make our best effort to walk your dog at the time you requested. Since noon is such a popular time for midday walks, we ask that you give us a little flexibility and allow at least a two-hour window for your dog’s walk. Sometimes things like holidays, traffic, weather, or a particularly challenging pet sit can slow us down a bit, but we’ll always keep you updated if we’re running late.

We request a 24-hour advance notice for cancellation; however, we will accept emergency cancellations made by 6:00 a.m. on the day of service. Any cancellations made after this time will still be billed.
